We had our usual 4th of July camping trip at Flaming Gorge this year. It was going to be so much fun because my Uncle Doug and cousin Kyle were able to come down and go with us all and the best part was that my Dad would be turning 50! Yay!!!
My mom had some shirts made for all of us, including all the kiddos, that had his high school picture on it and said "Look who's turning 50" on the front, and on the back it said "And Damn good looking and can still dunk!" They were so fun! It was fun for the whole big group of us to wear them that day.
We sent him to get some ice and while he was gone we decorated his trailer and our campsite. And then we all changed into our t-shirts. He was very surprised and got a good kick out of all our efforts. :)
The weather wasn't so great this time. We had reserved our rafts to raft the Green River, but the day we were supposed to go it was hailing so bad. So we decided to just skip it this year. Bummer.
Aaron and I decided that we wanted to stay a bit longer this year so we stayed an extra couple of days after everyone had left. It was pretty fun to just be with our little family and to do our own thing.
Beware of picture overload! And I even left a bunch out!
