8 month check up...

The babies all had an 8 month check up today. They are doing so good. The doctor was so impressed that they were rolling over (Gavin started rolling over last weekend in Yuba) and they reach for toys, so they are doing great developmentally. Jaxon weighs 13 lbs 1 oz and is 24 3/4 in long. That puts him in the 45% for height and 25% for weight (for their ADJUSTED age). Gavin weighs 13 lbs 3 oz and is 24 1/4 in, so 25% for height and 25% for weight. And Jacee (Miss Piggy) is 13 lbs 9 oz and 24 1/4 in, so she's in the 50% for both height and weight. The Dr. seamed very happy with the results.

And pretty much since Jaxon has been home he's been so congested, sometimes even wheezing so we have to give him Albuterol treatments. We got a suction machine to help suck everything out and it helps but an hour later he's stuffy again. He never has a fever so we never thought he was sick or anything, but we've been wondering what the heck is going on. And Gavin is about the same, though not quite as stuffy. So the Dr. is thinking that they might have a milk allergy so he switched them to soy formula (stinky!) and hopefully that helps. We'll keep our fingers crossed. The Doc also said it's time to start solids. So we are giving them rice cereal at night and if that goes good we'll give it to them in the morning along with some veggies and fruit. So I tried the cereal with them tonight, Jaxon couldn't figure out what the heck I was giving him, Gavin acted like I was feeding him a spoonful of poop (he gagged so hard he threw up), and of course Miss Piggy gobbled it right up. (Pretty sure she takes after her momma, I love to eat!)

So once again things are great! Yay!

Oh and I have to say I finished the 4th book in the Twilight Series, Breaking Dawn. Finally I can go back to being a mom and wife!!! I'm sure Aaron's glad I finished! And I've heard mixed reviews about it but I guess I'm just a sucker because I loved it!

And yesterday we went to the good 'ol Weber County Fair with my friend Stephanie and her kids and Kalee and Devree. Besides that it was so freakin hot, we hot a lot of fun. I forgot my camera of course but Dax got this super awesome prize so I had to take his picture with it. ;)And here's just some cute pics of the babies...
