Wow. It's been a busy couple of weeks! We've been going non-stop it seems. We started out by going to Aaron's sisters house 2 weekends ago. She and her family moved up to Mountain View Wyoming a while ago and we hadn't been up to see their new house yet so we finally we able to go up and stay the weekend with them. It was so fun and their new house is so nice. Dax had a blast playing with Landon and Ayrion. Since then I've taken the kids to Kennecott Copper Mine, the Davis County Fair, Lagoon, and Raging waters. Just to name a few! Crazy I know. But it's been fun. I just really need to get used to people stopping me all the time. We're quite the sight! Aaron says that we need to start charging!
And yesterday Derek left for school in Washington for his aviation program. We are all so excited for him, but it was sad to see him go. If you ask Dax who his best friend is, he'll say Derek. They've always been buddies. I remember when I told Derek I was pregnant (with Dax) that all he said was that it better be a boy. They've been best friends ever since. So Dax will be sad, he doesn't quite understand how far away Washington actually is.
And Aaron took Jacee to get her ears pierced on Saturday. He's always said that when we have a girl she is getting her ears pierced as soon as she can. So we did it. Jacee did so good. She cried for maybe 20 seconds then she was all smiles. And she looks so cute! We got little pink "diamond" earrings. Too cute...
Well and update on the babies food. Right after we switched them to soy formula they ALL got colds. (3 sick babies, so fun!!!!) So we couldn't really tell if it was helping the congestion because they were all so stuffy, so finally 2 weeks later the colds are about gone and they are much better! I think the soy is helping a ton. Jaxon sounds much better. And he is all smiles lately. He thinks he's hilarious, laughs all the time. But the baby food is a different story. Gavin still gags every time I give him some, and Jacee doesn't care for it either. Jaxon loves it. Gobbles it right up. I'm giving it to them twice a day now, so hopefully the other two will just get used to it. I don't remember having such a problem with Dax. Any tips would be much appreciated!!!!!
Oh and I want to say Congratulations to Aaron's brother Austin and his wife Tiffany, they had their second baby girl, Miley born on August 12th. And another congratulations to Aaron's sister Angie and her husband Kelly, they had a baby boy Treyson on August 19th. (that's the 4th for them, 3rd boy). Since last September every one of Aaron's siblings has had a baby (or 3). So that's 7 new grand kids (17 overall) for Aaron's parents in less than a year. Wow huh!
Well here's the latest pics.
Kalee, Devree, Dax, Me, Amber and the babies at Kennecott
Me and Dax at the mine.
Jacee and her earrings, they're hard to see in this pic.
A better look of at least one earring.
This is just a funny picture of Jaxon. He has to hold on to something when he sucks his thumb so he rolls all over until he finds something. This time he rolled half way under my bed and grabbed on to the bed skirt. So his head is under the bed. So cute!
This is Derek and Dax before Derek left. He gave Dax his beloved baseball hat collection. ;)
The whole fam minus Aaron and Dax, they went to Rocky Mountain Raceway to watch the Napa 125.
Me & Derek before he left. =(
And I have to say what a nice wife I am. Aaron went hunting for 5 days! And I didn't pitch a fit or anything. How nice huh! And he did get himself a nice 3 point buck. He just jerky's it all. Yay. But before he left, he and his cousins got the bright idea to cut their hair into mohawks! And I cut Aaron's and his cousins Cliff's. See how nice I am. I help my hubby to be crazy!!!
Mitch, Aaron & Cliff with their super awesome hairdo's.
