Howdy....

Well, once again it's been a busy couple of weeks. Dax is LOVING pre-school. He is learning so much. His teacher sent him home with a "Happy Helper" chart, and everyday if he does something on his chart he gets to put a sticker on it and once it's full of stickers he gets to take it back to school and gets to pick a prize. He thinks it's the coolest thing in the world! And so do I, everyday he gets up and makes his bed and brushes his teeth so he can get his stickers and then he only gets one toy out at a time so he doesn't have to pick up a lot of toys so he can get his pick up toys sticker. It's funny how he won't make big messes when HE has to clean it up! I try to make him clean his messes but he didn't really listen that well (imagine that). So thanks Mrs. Vicki!!! Dax also started soccer a couple of weeks ago. He loves it! Soccer is THE sport in our house. Aaron lives, eats, and breathes soccer. He plays on an indoor league and has for years so Dax couldn't wait until he got to play too. It is so cute to watch, we like to call it Bunch Ball because all the kids just follow the ball and they all try to get it, it doesn't matter if your own teammate has the ball, they still try to get it for themselves. It's pretty funny. And of course Dax is awesome! The first game he scored the only 2 goals, and the next game he scored 4 out of the 5. He's one coordinated little dude!
Lovin his treat he got after the game

Going for the goal

The babies are doing great. Moving all over the place. Jacee can army crawl all over the place. She can't even sit up yet, but she moves all over the place and gets up on her hands and knees she just can't figure out how to move her arms. Jaxon rolls anywhere he wants to go and it trying to figure out how to scoot like sister. Gav is a lazy turd! ;) He would just rather someone hold him than try to move around on his own. But I could imagine that it doesn't feel too good putting a lot of pressure on his feeding tube button. But we try! They all have their own little personalities. Jaxon thinks he's hilarious, but he's kinda sly about it, it's so funny. He just laughs and laughs. Gavin is just the little sweetheart. He still just smiles all the time. And Jacee is indeed the princess of the house. When she wants something she wants it now and she's already figured out that she gets whatever her little heart desires (especially from daddy). Girls are so different from boys, even this early! And they have all noticed each other. Jacee usually could care less, but the boys love to look at each other and just smile and they try to grab each other. It's so cool that they have each other, they will always have someone to play with. That's going to be so nice!
So Big!!! She loves to stand up. Strong little legs.

Daddy & his Princess

The babies all had their eye appointments earlier this week also. Since their ROP is all gone, this appointment was to check their vision. Gavin's was perfect, Jacee and Jaxon showed some mild nearsightedness and both have astigmatism. So the Dr. said they would need glasses in the near future. So I asked what he predicted to be the near future and he said probably in 6 months at their next check-up. I think that's going to be so cute! I love glasses on anyone, so little babies, how cute! I'm not sure how much the babies are going to like them, but oh they're gonna wear em!

And we FINALLY blessed the babies yesterday. They're 9 1/2 months old and we finally did it! Things are a little crazy around here, so it took me a little longer to put it together. Aaron's grandpa was nice enough to bless them. He was a little nervous to bless 3 babies, but he did a great job! I was nervous about how good the babies would be, but they did great. Then we had everyone over for lunch after. I don't love to host things, so I was stressing all week. But YAY it all went good. Thanks to everyone that came! (we had over 80 people come, which is one reason we did it on a Saturday instead of Sunday)

Jaxon thought he might starve! It's hard to get 3 babies to sit still and look the same direction, so this is as good as it gets! My cousin Melody made Jacee's dress. Gorgeous huh! Thanks Mel!

I'm going to take the babies to get their pictures in their blessing outfits, maybe someone else can get a good shot of all 3!

I am so happy for you, the babies all look so adorable in their blessing outfits. Jacee's dress is so beautiful. I got a little teary-eyed looking at that picture. What a long road you all have been down, and look how great it's all turned out to be. What a blessing.

Holy crap look at Jacee!! I haven't ever seen her do that before! She is really inspired so she can start playing with her cousin Dev! Go Jacee! The blessing turned out so good! Give them loves for me!
