School Days...

Well Dax started pre-school yesterday. His birthday is this month so he barely missed the deadline for Kindergarten, but I'd rather him be the oldest in his class than the youngest. So this is his second year of pre-school. He is going to a different school than he did last year, but is way excited! It happened that my friend Shannon's little boy Gage is in his class and they are good buddies so that was a great ice breaker. I don't know how good it is for the teacher, they are crazy boys! But he did great the first day. He seemed to have fun and already is learning the Pledge of Allegiance and they learn a new letter every week. So this week they will be learning about the letter A. He goes on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. He woke up today and was way bummed that he wasn't going today. I'm so glad that he likes it and isn't scared to go.

Well the babies are doing better with the solids. Jaxon loves it still, and Jacee just decided that she will like it to so they do great. Gavin doesn't seem to gag as much but still will not swallow it! I don't know if he just doesn't like it or if it might have something to do with his eating problem. So the OT's are going to work with him on eating solids so hopefully that will help.


And they sure did get their colds back. Dang it! They gave their colds to Dax and it looks like he gave it right back to them. They are starting to feel better now, so hopefully we can be done playing tag with the cold!


And last weekend Aaron and I decided we needed a getaway. It's been a long, hard year for us so it was much needed. So Amber and Brian were nice enough to come stay at our house with the kiddos at night and then they would take them to my mom's during the day. So it was a group effort. And we are very thankful!!!! We decided to go to Vegas. We stayed at the Planet Hollywood resort which was so nice. We decided that Vegas is pretty nasty, good people watching place, but very nasty. So we mainly hit all the shops and ate at lots of yummy places. And we went and saw STOMP. It was so awesome!!! We've seen them before when they came here, but it was even better in Vegas because that's their "home" now so they were able to do a lot more stuff than they did when they came here. It was so fun! We had a great time.
