Easter 2009

My parents decided to go down to Mesquite for Easter weekend and I really needed to get out of the house and needed some warmer weather so we decided to tag along, and so did Derek & Kalee and Nicole. We got there late Friday night and then of course with our luck it was freezing and rainy on Saturday. We had just planned to swim and play by the pool all day, so hmmm what to do now. We decided to head over to the outlets in St. George and do some shopping. But is was so cold and windy that that wasn't really even fun. So we hung around until dinner time and ate at our favorite Texas Roadhouse and then headed back to the hotel. Everyone but me, Kalee and the kiddos went to play at the casinos when we got back. Good times for me and Kalee huh! But I would have been sitting in my house all weekend so at least this was a change of scenery.

Easter morning Aaron woke up super sick. He thinks it was food poisoning from our favorite restaruant. Good thing that one isn't by us, because we love that place! So while he lay in bed "dying" as he would put it, the kiddo's got their easter baskets. Dax got a movie and outside play stuff, the babies each got a little toy and of course all got some candy! Then we packed up and headed home (actually headed straight to the park to be with Aaron's family). I got to drive home, which actually wasn't too bad, even if it was 6 hours!
