Goodbye to Grandpa Gravis

Today my sweet grandpa passed away. He's been sick for a while, but still, nothing prepares you for how hard it is to lose someone. I don't have one bad memory of my grandpa. He was the prankster of all pranksters! He always made us laugh. I have such great memories of him and I'll treasure them always.
Memories of Grandpa:

When I was little every time I would see him he would "steal" my nose, never failed, every time.
He always gave us a dollar and spankings on our birthday. I started saving my dollars a while ago and still have them.
Grandpa's pride and joy was his garden. He would always plant peas, green beans and tomatoes just for me because he knew they were my favorite. (who knows if he really did plant them just for me, but he told me they were mine, and it made my day)

He was one of the strongest men I know. Gavin's middle name is Leo after him. It's been good and bad that we named him after my grandpa. Good in the fact that Gavin has fought a tough battle to be here with us and bad because you can just look at Gavin and tell he's mischievous just like Grandpa! :) Grandpa would always ask me which baby was "his". I think he loved that he got a baby named after him. :)
Grandpa cheated on ALL games. He was quite sneaky at it too.
He gave us grand kids a chair that he had re-upholstered when we got married. Upholstery was his trade, and he was brilliant at it. No one is allowed to sit in my chair. It will always be so special to me and I'm so glad I was able to get one.
He was very proud of his Greek heritage and passed it onto all of us. Greek Easter won't be the same without him.
He always called Dax Joe. Dax would always ask "why he call me Joe?" Don't know why he called him that, but it was pretty fun.

We all have great memories with grandpa. It's been nice to sit with everyone and listen to all the funny stories, especially the ones from my mom and aunts.
Love You Grandpa! You'll forever be in our hearts.
