Last year Aaron's family started the tradition of going camping at Yuba Lake. Well with all of our "fun" adventures with camping this year we have boycotted camping, so we decided to just go down and spend Saturday with everyone.
This year was SO much better than last year. Last year it was so windy and so sand was everywhere, but this year we only had one little burst of wind and that was it. It was perfect this year!
Dax and Jacee were the only ones of our kids that dared get in the water. Gavin was glued to my hip as usual and Jaxon LOVED the sand. He was covered in it at all times, but he was having so much fun, so I just let him. The Big boys played football in the shallow part of the water, and that's always fun to watch. There was also the slide and platform again this year.
As it got closer to night Ashley somehow talked us into staying and just sleeping in our van. And ya know what, it really wasn't that bad. Besides the drunk people going down the slide naked and us having to call the police, of course. ;)
