Hello world! I'm back, finally. I just got so far behind and the farther I got behind the harder it was to get caught up. But I did, and hopefully I can stay on top of things from now on!
We were able to sale our house, FINALLY, in November and we found a house we liked in Farr West. It was listed as a short sale so it took a while to get into it so in between houses my parents were oh so nice and let us live in their basement for a month. We had 2 bedrooms down there so we put the babies in pack n plays in one room and Aaron, Dax and I were in the other. We just put Dax in a cot in the room. So it was quite squishy but it was somewhere to live so no complaints!
We got to move into the new house right before Christmas. Our new house fits us SOOO much better. I can fit more than 3 chairs at the table. I even put the leaf in the table and can still fit all 8 chairs around it! It has 4 bedrooms upstairs so Dax and Jacee have their own rooms and Gav & Jaxon share one. Jacee had a hard time being by herself for the first couple of days but she is doing great now! It also a partial basement that isn't finished so eventually we can finish it and move Dax downstairs, but for now he has NO interest whatsoever about moving downstairs!
And Aaron was finally able to get his big garage he has always dreamed of. It's a 4 car garage and we fill up every square inch of it! We have my van, Aaron's car, and then Aaron's 67 Chevy that he is restoring and our Ranger and 4-Wheeler. We have a lot of toys! I'm so glad to be able to park in the garage again. At our last house the 67 and Ranger got the garage.
The neighborhood is awesome! There seems to be a lot of boys, so Dax will be able to have some friends in the neighborhood. And all of the neighbors are so nice. With all the snow we've had lately everyone is always out plowing the drives and everyone does everyone else's driveway. So nice!
And I know that the main reason that I put Dax in the Charter School was so that when we moved he wouldn't have to change schools, but we really didn't anticipate moving as far away as we did. So after driving the 25 min to school and 25 min back for a week we decided to change Dax to the local elementary. And plus he can make more friends that live by us. But the best part of all is that he gets to ride the bus! I never knew how helpful that could have been. I don't have to wake the babies up from naps anymore, it's so great! He's doing really good so far and seems to have made some friends so all is well.
The babies are doing great! We have managed to stay pretty healthy besides a bout of the stomach flu this week. It's gross, but it's better than RSV. This time last year we were in the hospital with RSV. So we are crossing our fingers that we don't have a repeat. Jacee is still the boss as far as she's concerned, but the boys are starting to put up a fight now. But she still usually wins. :) They are still in Early Intervention which I LOVE. Jaxon has been doing so good since his last surgery that he "graduated" out of the vision program. Which is good for him, but I really liked his therapist! All 3 are in speech therapy but are saying more and more everyday, especially Jacee, she is starting so say so many words now. Gav is really picking up on a lot now too. Jaxon is a bit more behind than the other 2, but he's making progress so that's all we care about. Both the boys still see the occupational therapy to fine tune their fine motor skills and Jaxon still works with a physical therapist, though his balance is SOOOOO much better now. I'm so glad they are doing so good, but again I'll be sad when we lose our therapists, I really love them!
My cute sister Amber has made it to 34 1/2 weeks with her twins, she's amazing. They told her she is the "poster" mom for twins. She's miserable, but she hardly ever complains. We are so excited to meet baby boy and baby girl Hansen!
Well that's about all that's been going on here. So glad to be back!!!!
Dax 1st day of school, round 2 ;)
Getting on the bus. He was so excited to get to ride the bus.
The new house. People have asked for a pic. So here it is.

I have been waiting for you to catch up:) That is good that Dax is making some new friends at school:) Summertime he will love it when all the kids are outside playing. I'm so happy you guys are in the neighborhood now:)
Thanks for all of the updates. It fun to see what's going on with you. Hope you are enjoying that home of yours. Very exciting.
Congrats on the new house! I bet you are loving all the space. I'm glad school is going good for Dax. I LOVE the bus too. It has been so nice with a new little baby to not have to take Kaylee to school and just have her catch the bus each day. Your babies have gotten so big too! They are all adorable.
