Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hello everyone!!! The babies are doing great still. Gavin was able to come off CPAP last week and is on high flow nasal cannula and doing wonderful. He loves not having all that stuff on his face! He is also a stud muffin. Pretty sure all three are gorgeous if I do say so myself!!! I'm able to start trying to nurse Jacee and she is doing great! She can suck, swallow and breathe, she just has to figure out how to do it all at the same time! =)And Jacee is indeed a princess. She has figured out that she likes to be held and if she cries then she gets to be held. So she cries and as soon as someone picks her up she stops immediately. Spoiled already! And she's got some lungs! One time I called to check on them and I could here her screaming in the background and the nurse said "Do ya hear your little princess?" But I love that she's spoiled. They take really good care of them at the hospital! The boys try the crying thing too, but I don't think as often as Jacee. =) I was visiting them on Sunday by myself and the nurse had left for lunch so it was just me, and I had been trying to nurse Jaxon for the first time and he had fallen asleep so I was just holding him and Jacee starting crying (screaming) so I put Jaxon back in his crib and picked up Jacee (who of course snuggled right in my shoulder and stopped crying) but then Jaxon starting crying and then of course Gavin started in on it too! I just kept looking at each of them trying to figure out I was suppose to do. WOW! Can we say reality check!!! I was sooooo overwhelmed, but pretty sure I better get used to that! =)
Well they thought that Jaxon might be getting a stomach infection(NEC) that can be pretty serious so they immediately stopped his feedings and started him on antibiotics. It turns out that it looks like he probably didn't have it, probably some sort of stomach virus instead. But as far as NEC is concerned, better safe than sorry and I'm glad that the doctors acted fast. He is getting all his nutrients through and IV and hopefully can start eating again soon. But he is still doing great. He's a trooper!
Their weights as of last night are:
Jaxon: 4 lbs 15 oz
Gavin: 4 lbs 6 oz.
Jacee: 4lbs 13 oz.
Getting big!!!!
