Well this was a very productive weekend for our little cuties! They are all doing bone density exercises with the occupational therapists and doing really good with that. And Gavin had an awesome weekend. He was able to have his first bath! After 11 weeks, it was about time. He loved it! As soon as we laid him in the bath he dropped both hands to his side and just laid there! It was so cute! And he got so relaxed that he pooped right in the bath! That's the good thing about the swaddled bath, all we had to do was unwrap the blanket and the yummy poop went with it. =)And of course he didn't especially care for the washing part, but I think it was an overall good experience for him. Gavin also got to come off the high flow cannula and is now on a regular flow and doing awesome. Yay!!! And Jaxon's little NEC scare is over, he's off his antibiotics and IV's and has started his feeds again and is doing great. Jacee is still doing wonderful. She is doing great at nursing, getting better at it everyday. I actually get to try and nurse all of them now. (can we say overwhelming) I've decided to just take turns, I go down to the hospital twice a day now so I can nurse two then, and then when I go back I can nurse the other one. And I'm waiting on nursing Jaxon right now because we think he might have a paralized vocal cord from his little heart surgery. We knew it could happen, and his voice is just quieter than the other two's. But we actually should find out today if it is because the specialist comes today. And when they have a paralized vocal cord it can be harder to swallow so I want to wait and see what the doctors determine before I nurse him.

We also moved rooms. We are now out of the most critical rooms and are in the rooms with the other "big" babies. Just kinda watching them grow now. Yay!!! We like this part. I can't believe it's already been 12 weeks. I never thought I'd say that, but it has gone by fast.
Alright, well their weights as of last night are: (your gonna be shocked!)

The babies are looking awesome and I'm so glad they are doing so well! Your just gonna have to change Jacee's name to Princess Jacee because she will be known as the princess! Keep getting big, we can't wait to be able to have some more cousins to play with! (Especially our first girl cousin! Yay!) ;)
Thanks for letting us come see them on Monday! They are looking and doing great :)
Brooke and Aaron,
I am so excited for you both! Your babies are absolutely adorable. I get updates about them all of the time from the fam but I'm glad your Mom just gave me the website so I can see all of the darling pix. Congratulations! Hang in there! Love,
Jodi Breese
Hey Brooke! I'm so glad the babies are doing so well. They are SO cute. I hope you don't mind I put you on my list of friends, I look at it all the time anyway! :) I hope the babies will be able to go home soon!
My name is Rachel and we found you through brian and amber. My husband just hired Brian to work for him. We also have triplets! 3 boys!! They are 15 months old! Congrats to you guys and our prayers are with you. Our boys were born at 33 weeks and were in the hospital 2 1/2 wks. I thought ours was long but I can't even imagine what you guys must be going through. They are adorable!! And it looks like they are doing well. They are growing well. Feel free to look at our blog trujillotrio.blogspot.com and if you ever need to talk or have any questions feel free to call me. 801-898-8335. I know how stressful it can be to have your children in the hospital and sometimes how overwelming it can be once they get home. Congrats again and we will be checking in on your blog for updates!
