No April fools joke! On Tuesday April 1st ,after 126 days in the NBICU, Jaxon was finally able to come home. He is doing great here at home. So far he's pretty mellow. He does LOVE to be held, but he really doesn't fuss unless he is hungry or really wants to be held. And right now he and Jacee have gotten on the same schedule some how, so it's nice. They are eating every 4 hours pretty much right to the minute. This morning at 2:30 they both kinda thought it was morning, but I was quick to make sure they went right back in their cribs and they did fall asleep pretty fast, just a little rockin will do the trick!!! And Aaron is great with helping. With Jacee we took turns in the night to get up with her, and now since we both have to get up we just "pick" what baby we want to feed. You just hope you pick the hungrier one because they will eat faster, therefore you get to go back to bed faster!!! =) But pretty sure sleep is something of the past now!!! Going from 1 to 2 babies is pretty crazy! I can't even imagine going from 2 to 3. As hard as it is to leave Gavin at the hospital, it's going to be nice getting used to 2 before he comes home. And he is doing great. Getting chunkier every day! He is doing awesome with his bottles lately. The doctors were talking about putting a feeding tube in that goes right in his stomach so that he could come home, and he didn't like the sound of that, because ever since they talked to us about it he has been taking most if not all of his bottle when he's offered one. So now he gets offered one more often and is doing great. He is still on some oxygen, still needs his eyes to be checked, and needs that hernia surgery but he is doing great! Hopefully just a couple more weeks then he can come home.
2 hungry babies...fun..=)

Hi Brooke, This is Heather, Amber's sister-in-law again. I just noticed no comments on your post yet, so I thought I would leave a note. I just love lookin at your little cuties. They are so, so precious. I hope you don't mind that I look at your blog. I just am so glad they are doing well, and I am excited for them all to be home with you, but also overwhelmed for you. I am sure you will have a lot of good help, and what a great husband you have to help you. I am sure Dax will be a good help as well.
