Sorry I haven't posted lately. Things are a bit crazy round these parts! =) We had a couple of nice weather days and we were able to go outside and even went to the Tulip Festival, funny thing about that was there weren't any tulips yet! But it was still fun and very pretty. We went with some of my aunts and girl cousins. Girls day out! It was so windy but at least it wasn't cold. It was the babies first big outing, and they did great!
Jaxon and Jacee are still doing good. They definitely have their moments of "naughty" where they just want to be held all the time. So lets just say my house is a disaster, I have piles upon piles of laundry to fold (at least it's clean though), but the babies don't seem to care, they think they are more important I guess! ;) And Jaxon doesn't care to sleep in his crib at all! He will only sleep in it if he is fast asleep before I put him in it. So he usually sleeps in his bouncer or propped up in the boppy. But who can blame him huh.
Gavin is still doing good. Looks like he will for sure have to come home with a feeding tube, but I'm okay with that. I think he will do so much better at home with some consistancy of people. He is very selective of who can feed him, if he isn't familiar with you, you can just forget about him eating for you. And his oxygen requirements are doing good. He was up on it again for a while because we all got a little cold, him included, so his nose was pretty stuffy but he's doing much better. If he comes off it this week and his eyes are still getting better (which they were last week) then they will send him over to Primary's for his surgery and then he can come home! I'm sure he'll have to stay at Primary's for a few days, but then home sweet home! And we are so excited. We've mastered two (kind of), we are ready for three! He's going to look huge next to these guys! Last week at their doctor appt. Jaxon was 8 lbs 4 oz, Jacee was 7 lbs 14 oz, so I'm sure they are a little bigger now, but Gavin was 9 lbs 7 oz last night. They aren't anything close to that!
Oh, and Jacee totally rolled over today!!! I put her on her belly for tummy time, and she just kept flipping over to her back!
I wanted to say thanks to everyone that has sponsored me so far with their donations to March of Dimes! I reached my personal goal, so thanks! But my team is far from their goal so if we can get more donations that would be great!!! ;) All donations under my name go towards the teams goal. The website again is http://www.marchforbabies.org/Neilson_Family
I have lots of pics this week so enjoy!
Jaxon and Gavin's cute baseball bums...
I'll put the pictures from the Tulip Festival in a slide show...
