We love & will miss you Kristen...

4/16/89- 5/5/08

On Monday my cousin Kristen Dickmann passed away. It was a complete shock to everyone. She was only 19, and extremely healthy. She was just finishing up her first year in the Naval Academy, and was a on the Naval Academy's volleyball team. Getting accepted into the Academy was a huge dream and major accomplishment for Kristen. Everyone was so proud of her.

She has lived back east her whole life, so we weren't able to see her and my other cousins very often, but when we did we always had so much fun. All of my memories of her are of her smiling and laughing, she was such a happy person. I will forever remember her beautiful smile. It's still so hard to believe that's she's gone, she had so much going for her, but she was so happy in everything she had accomplished, and lived life to the fullest.

I want my aunt and uncle to know how much I love her, and to let them know what a wonderful daughter they raised, and I am so proud to have called her my cousin. We will love and miss you forever Kristen, and we know that this is not the end! You will forever be in our hearts. Till we meet again...

There have been some nice articles written about her, here are some links if anyone wants to read about what a wonderful person Kristen was.

And the babies are doing great. Gavin is feeling much better and right now the plan is to bring him home this Saturday. Finally. I will keep everyone posted!
